Bata Australia participated in the Safety in Action show held in Melbourne from 19-22 March 2007
For the first time Bata Australia won the best stand of the exhibition which reflects the aggressive stance the company has taken by promoting the Bata Industrials brand throughout Australia and New Zealand.
300 companies attended the 3 day event, which is seen as the premier safety show in Australia. The show was visited by over 10,000 visitors, many of the visitors showed great interest in the new Bata products which were on show at the exhibition.
The Bata Industrial brand has created a new prospective within in the safety market in Australia. The new exciting ranges of Workmates, Sportmates, and Spirit have gained momentum within the highly competitive market with sales showing growth of over 20% v last year. The recent advertising campaigns of radio, T.V., billboards and media advertisements are now paying off. The Brand which is now being seen as the leading safety brand in the country, linked also with the new innovated technology products, example the Minemaster mining boot which is now acknowledged as the best product for that industry.
